Beautiful green Darcie dress

I’m so glad you’ve asked. I love this dress with its vibrant colour and pattern. It’s the perfect length for me, has an interesting neckline and feels beautiful on. I would just mention that the pockets make it look a little bulky on the hips ( I’ve marked it down to 4 stars because of this) but I’m planning to pop in a little stitch and hopefully this will solve it. I really can’t wait to wear this dress 🙂

Beautiful material but shape wrong for me

The colour and pattern and general style are beautiful and it would make a cool occasion dress for a hot day as it’s cotton. Sadly the cut and addition of pockets made it stick out at the hips, and the gathering at the shoulders ( very “in” right now) made it seem too wide for my petite frame too. I think I could have done some easy alterations but reluctantly sent back in the end

I bought this a bit unsure as it is not the kind of thing I normally wear. But, particularly with the trousers, it is an absolute winner. I wanted it for a cruise I am going on. I am a bit older and don’t particularly want to flash the flesh, but I don’t like traditional middle-aged “cruise wear”. This fills the void and I suspect that I will be buying other similar things in the future.
